Genetic Study on Exotropia
Eyes Turned Outward
There are some children with Moebius syndrome whose eyes turn outward (called exotropia) rather than inward or crossed, in strabismus. There currently is a genetic study in progress that involves exotropia.
If you are a parent of a child with Moebius syndrome who has exotropia and are interested in participating in the study or would like additional information about it, please contact Caroline Andrews at candrews@enders.tch.harvard.edu
