One of the most commonly asked questions is, "What causes Moebius Syndrome?"
No one knows for sure, but research is being conducted by various researchers around the world who are looking for the answer. The Moebius Syndrome Foundation secured a grant from the NIH in April 2007 to bring together researchers from 10 countries to discuss their research and to share information. The Moebius Syndrome Foundations/Associations around the world are united in the effort to advocate for and support research.
